Handmade in London by a member of our small team, the 1 1/2" (38 mm) wide brown western style belt is made from our favourite sustainably sourced full grain 3.4 mm thick leather.

Completed with vintage style metal loop, tip and buckle in Zamack -a nickel-free hardwearing brass alloy- securely riveted in place.

The metal loop and tip is an all time favourite; a handmade brown western belt cut at a classic width for jeans, using vegetable tanned leather for it's natural finish and lower environmental impact.
Covered by our 25 year Warranty Snips stamp - guaranteeing this belt will provide you with a lifetime worth of wear, and take on character, charm, and individuality with use.

To figure out your perfect fit, measure a well fitting belt from the place at which the buckle is attached to the most used hole.

Alternatively, if you do have a tape measure to hand, measure over your trousers, exactly as you would wear the belt - which allows for the added bulk of the trousers.

The leather we use for our classic belts is low maintenance and easy to care for. Most small scratches can be polished out with a clean, soft cloth.

If you feel it’s in need of some extra affection, you might like to use a leather conditioner. Anything with beeswax or natural oils is best. Feel free to get in touch for our own recommendation.

We do not recommend using a coloured conditioner, as there is a high risk of colour transfer onto clothes. A neutral one will rejuvenate the colour slightly without the risk of damage.

The buckles we use for our classic belts are Brass or Zamak which shines up well with typical metal polishes. Always test the polish in an inconspicuous place first.

All of our leather is supplied by tanneries who are audited and certified by the Leather Working Group.

The Leather Working Group is the world’s largest leather sustainability program. LWG has identified environmental best practices in the industry and audits tanneries to assess the environmental performance of leather manufacturing facilities – and certifies those that meet the standards.

The leather used for our Belts is supplied by a Tuscan tannery that has a Silver Rating from the LWG, as well as being a member of The Genuine Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Consortium.

The Consortium’s mission is to safeguard the centuries-old tradition of vegetable tanning and to guarantee the quality of the raw material and workmanship. The Consortium guarantees manufacturing processes compatible with the ecosystem and not harmful to people.
