Buckle and Loop 1 1/8" Brown Leather Belt

Size

£22.00

A classic, smart, brown suit belt, handmade from vegetable tanned Italian leather.

The narrow 1 ⅛” or 30mm width, tapered tip, and subtle foil branding on the inside of the belt create an unfussy accessory, complemented with neat metal buckle and loop in a classic gold finish.

Adaptable to various looks and styles - in addition to making a subdued detail in more formal wear, we love the less common matching metal loop and think this also makes a great womens brown leather belt.

Alongside our logo, you will find our 25 year Warranty Snips stamp. A mark  guaranteeing this belt will provide you with a lifetime worth of wear. We believe in investment buying and creating belts that will only get better with age. You can read all about our Classic Belt Warranty here.

Each brown leather formal belt is meticulously crafted in our London Studio by a member of our small team.

Also available in tan and black, each belt in our Classic collection is handmade from sumptuous 3.5mm vegetable tanned leather and range in widths from 1" to 2 inches.

For your perfect fit, you will find our size guide here.

To figure out your perfect fit measure a well fitting belt from the place at which the buckle is attached to the most used hole.

Alternatively, if you do have a tape measure to hand, measure over your trousers, exactly as you would wear the belt - which allows for the added bulk of the trousers.

The leather we use for our classic belts is low maintenance and easy to care for. Most small scratches can be polished out with a clean, soft cloth.

If you feel it’s in need of some extra affection, you might like to use a leather conditioner. Anything with beeswax or natural oils is best. Feel free to get in touch for our own recommendation.

We do not recommend using a coloured conditioner, as there is a high risk of colour transfer onto clothes. A neutral one will rejuvenate the colour slightly without the risk of damage.

The buckles we use for our classic belts are Brass or Zamak which shines up well with typical metal polishes. Always test the polish in an inconspicuous place first.

All of our leather is supplied by tanneries who are audited and certified by the Leather Working Group.

The Leather Working Group is the world’s largest leather sustainability program. LWG has identified environmental best practices in the industry and audits tanneries to assess the environmental performance of leather manufacturing facilities – and certifies those that meet the standards.

The leather used for our Belts is supplied by a Tuscan tannery that has a Silver Rating from the LWG, as well as being a member of The Genuine Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Consortium.

The Consortium’s mission is to safeguard the centuries-old tradition of vegetable tanning and to guarantee the quality of the raw material and workmanship. The Consortium guarantees manufacturing processes compatible with the ecosystem and not harmful to people.
