A 1 1/8" (30 mm) wide full grain black leather belt, handmade in London, finished with black edge dye, contrast chunky stitching, and choice of buckle colour.

Made in London using sustainably sourced vegetable tanned leather from Italy, we added this to our range as an alternative to our popular 1 1/2" wide stitched black belt for jeans.

Cut at 1 1/8" (30 mm) wide, it's a versatile width; narrow enough for formal trouser loops but still a casual belt great to cinch in a waist or complement jeans.

Stitched with a heavy duty fawn colour thread and hand finished with black edge dye.

Hardwearing nickel free buckles from Italy attached with press studs, available in brushed silver or antique gold finish. The press stud attachment lets you swap out buckles with ease, to suit you outfit, mood, or the day of the week, making it a truly versatile stitched leather belt.

We believe in investment buying; crafted from carefully selected 3.5 mm Italian vegetable tanned leather, it's natural grain and texture take on character and charm with wear, creating a unique piece, special to you.

Also available in brown, or if you prefer your jeans belts wider these are still available in 1 1/2" width.

- 1 1/8" (30mm) wide.

- 3.5mm thick full grain vegetable tanned leather from Italy.

- Heavy duty bonded nylon thread.

- Zamak (nickel-free) buckles.

- Press studs to swap out buckles.

- Handmade in London.

To figure out your perfect fit, measure a well fitting belt from the place at which the buckle is attached to the most used hole.

Alternatively, if you do have a tape measure to hand, measure over your trousers, exactly as you would wear the belt - which allows for the added bulk of the trousers.

The leather we use for our classic belts is low maintenance and easy to care for. Most small scratches can be polished out with a clean, soft cloth.

If you feel it’s in need of some extra affection, you might like to use a leather conditioner. Anything with beeswax or natural oils is best. Feel free to get in touch for our own recommendation.

We do not recommend using a coloured conditioner, as there is a high risk of colour transfer onto clothes. A neutral one will rejuvenate the colour slightly without the risk of damage.

The buckles we use for our classic belts are Brass or Zamak which shines up well with typical metal polishes. Always test the polish in an inconspicuous place first.

All of our leather is supplied by tanneries who are audited and certified by the Leather Working Group.

The Leather Working Group is the world’s largest leather sustainability program. LWG has identified environmental best practices in the industry and audits tanneries to assess the environmental performance of leather manufacturing facilities – and certifies those that meet the standards.

The leather used for our Belts is supplied by a Tuscan tannery that has a Silver Rating from the LWG, as well as being a member of The Genuine Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Consortium.

The Consortium’s mission is to safeguard the centuries-old tradition of vegetable tanning and to guarantee the quality of the raw material and workmanship. The Consortium guarantees manufacturing processes compatible with the ecosystem and not harmful to people.
