This striking black western buckle belt has been created from vegetable tanned Italian leather, and completed with a solid metal buckle, loop and tip in an antique silver finish.

Cut at 1 1/2" or 38mm, it's a classic width for most trousers and jeans, making it an excellent all day option, and the natural grain leather has been chosen to wear beautifully, and take on it's own character with use and age.

Each western style belt will be handmade in our London Studio by a member of our small team. Foil stamped on the inside with our branding to keep the design of the belt as clean and classic as possible.

Not just a cowboy belt, we love this design for it's versatility, a subtle statement piece, entirely adaptable the wearer and how it's worn.

This belt is also made available in rich brown and a classic tan. Please feel welcome to browse our full range of lovingly crafted 3.5mm thick vegetable tanned Classic belts.

In addition, we create a narrower 3 part buckle belt, from other, equally luxuriant leather.

Please our size guide here.

In addition to this classic black leather belt, we make complimentary accessories and a wide range of belts from the same rich leather.

Move away from throw away fashion culture and invest in one of our belts; everything we make, we make to last - it will last you a lifetime and wear better with age - treasure it!

To figure out your perfect fit, measure a well fitting belt from the place at which the buckle is attached to the most used hole.

Alternatively, if you do have a tape measure to hand, measure over your trousers, exactly as you would wear the belt - which allows for the added bulk of the trousers.

The leather we use for our classic belts is low maintenance and easy to care for. Most small scratches can be polished out with a clean, soft cloth.

If you feel it’s in need of some extra affection, you might like to use a leather conditioner. Anything with beeswax or natural oils is best. Feel free to get in touch for our own recommendation.

We do not recommend using a coloured conditioner, as there is a high risk of colour transfer onto clothes. A neutral one will rejuvenate the colour slightly without the risk of damage.

The buckles we use for our classic belts are Brass or Zamak which shines up well with typical metal polishes. Always test the polish in an inconspicuous place first.

All of our leather is supplied by tanneries who are audited and certified by the Leather Working Group.

The Leather Working Group is the world’s largest leather sustainability program. LWG has identified environmental best practices in the industry and audits tanneries to assess the environmental performance of leather manufacturing facilities – and certifies those that meet the standards.

The leather used for our Belts is supplied by a Tuscan tannery that has a Silver Rating from the LWG, as well as being a member of The Genuine Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Consortium.

The Consortium’s mission is to safeguard the centuries-old tradition of vegetable tanning and to guarantee the quality of the raw material and workmanship. The Consortium guarantees manufacturing processes compatible with the ecosystem and not harmful to people.
