Slightly wider than usual this brown leather belt is sure to make a statement, measuring 1 3/4" (44 mm).

Handmade from sustainably sourced leather, we choose vegetable tanning as it beautifully preserves the natural grain and texture of the hide, for a belt with a unique variated finish which adapts to it's wearer, taking charm and character with use.

Constructed with press studs enabling an easy switch between buckles, a feature we hope encourages a greater life span and versatility in our brown leather jeans belt, we have recently made our range of buckles available to buy individually - you can browse our 1 3/4" spare belt buckles here.

When selecting your buckle style, make a selection from the drop-down menu, and the picture will change to match. Our buckles are brass, with a nickel-free plating, or cast Zamak - a nickel-free brass alloy.

The classics collection features a tapered tip, matching leather keeper and on the reverse you'll find our hot foil stamped logo and 25 year Warranty Snips. Read all about our Classic Belt Warranty here.

In addition to the classic brown 1 3/4" full grain leather belt, we make these in Black and Tan, if you're after wide leather belts for women you may also be interested in our even bolder 2" brown leather belt.

To figure out your perfect fit measure a well fitting belt from the place at which the buckle is attached to the most used hole.

Alternatively, if you do have a tape measure to hand, measure over your trousers, exactly as you would wear the belt - which allows for the added bulk of the trousers.

The leather we use for our classic belts is low maintenance and easy to care for. Most small scratches can be polished out with a clean, soft cloth.

If you feel it’s in need of some extra affection, you might like to use a leather conditioner. Anything with beeswax or natural oils is best. Feel free to get in touch for our own recommendation.

We do not recommend using a coloured conditioner, as there is a high risk of colour transfer onto clothes. A neutral one will rejuvenate the colour slightly without the risk of damage.

The buckles we use for our classic belts are Brass or Zamak which shines up well with typical metal polishes. Always test the polish in an inconspicuous place first.

All of our leather is supplied by tanneries who are audited and certified by the Leather Working Group.

The Leather Working Group is the world’s largest leather sustainability program. LWG has identified environmental best practices in the industry and audits tanneries to assess the environmental performance of leather manufacturing facilities – and certifies those that meet the standards.

The leather used for our Belts is supplied by a Tuscan tannery that has a Silver Rating from the LWG, as well as being a member of The Genuine Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Consortium.

The Consortium’s mission is to safeguard the centuries-old tradition of vegetable tanning and to guarantee the quality of the raw material and workmanship. The Consortium guarantees manufacturing processes compatible with the ecosystem and not harmful to people.
