Missouri Black Leather Purse

Handmade by us in our London workshop, these purses combine an elegant and simple internal wallet with four card pockets and a larger bill pocket with our tried and tested zip purse on the back for general storage. It measures 8.5 cm x 12 cm when closed.

In this new product we have aimed to combine the style of a purse with the simple functionality of a wallet, all while using the same hearty vegetable tanned leather as our classic range of belts.
Resulting from the natural tanning process, the organic grain, texture, and past life of the material is preserved. Over time the leather matures and beautifully takes on character with age and wear.

We have created a small run of accessories using some of our favourite designs, crafted from the same Italian vegetable tanned leather which we use for our belts; currently in addition to this purse we have available the wallet, card holder, sunglasses case, glasses pouch, and small satchel style shoulder bag.

We do our best to ensure the colours look as true as possible, however please remember that monitor colour settings can vary.
The leather we choose is vegetable tanned, which means it is produced in the most natural way possible. This beautifully preserves the organic past life of the material, highlighting the natural grain and texture, as well as the occasional growth marks or surface imperfections. Every hide has a totally unique grain - for this reason there is almost always some unique variance in the surface finish.

To us, it’s important that the leather we use aligns with our values. Alongside creating long lasting, timeless products, we ensure we minimise our impact on the planet, by crafting our pieces responsibly.

All of our leather is supplied by tanneries who are audited and certified by the Leather Working Group.

The Leather Working Group is the world’s largest leather sustainability program. LWG has identified environmental best practices in the industry and audits tanneries to assess the environmental performance of leather manufacturing facilities – and certifies those that meet the standards.
