Mini-Belle Black Leather Crossbody Bag

£155.00

Adding a contemporary slant to a classic saddle bag shape, the simple lines and chunky stitch combine to create an elegant day wear accessory. This bag is a smaller version of our standard Belle Bag.

Our Mini-Belle comes in Navy, Brown, Green, Tan and Burgundy.

We make these bags to order, so it could take up to a week to complete your order. If you need it quicker please get in touch as we might have one in stock.

Creating the designs and selecting the leathers went hand in hand when this collection was crafted, the stunning vegetable tanned shades are a feature in themselves. We wished to create a bag which respected and showcased these leathers while still being practical and versatile. Resulting in a stunning limited range that blends form & functionality.

Handmade in our small London workshop, everything on our Belle bags has been designed for balance. The raw edge along the back for a flat profile contrasts with the curved front edge, the double hemmed front frames the bold solid brass ring which states without overstating.

Wanting to offset form with functionality, the details are sparse yet considered, the raw edge flap centred by the curved leather tab and 2 inch solid ring. The clean rectangular line of stitching attaching the internal pocket, highlighting the blind embossed logo.

The solid brass ring adds weight to the flap, maintaining the line and shape whilst providing both an ease of access and a security.

The body of the bag measures approximately 23 cm by 17 cm, with a depth of 5 cm, the flap is fastened with a magnetic closure.

The internal zip pocket creates a compartment for smaller valuables, separate from the internal body of the bag, which exposes the soft underside of the leather. Measuring approximately 17 x 12 cm, it is flush with the body of the bag.

The robust and simple leather strap is 2 cm wide and the silver finished buckle allows the strap to be adjusted from 117 to 129 cm. While being securely riveted to the side with solid d-rings and leather tabs for flexibility.

We do our best to ensure the colours look as true as possible, however please remember that monitor colour settings can vary.

The leather we choose is vegetable tanned, which means it is produced in the most natural way possible. This beautifully preserves the organic past life of the material, highlighting the natural grain and texture, as well as the occasional growth marks or surface imperfections.

Chroma/Roam Our colourful leather accessories are very low maintenance; try to avoid getting them completely wet, and they can be cleaned with a soft brush, or a damp cloth. Designed to be durable, the solid colour finish can conceal a few more bashes than the natural grain leather but they never say no to a good going over with a leather cleaner and a clean cloth.

There are sealant sprays available, which do help protect your leather goods and can also help protect colour transfer onto lighter coloured clothing.

Missouri - A full grain, natural finish, this leather's charm comes as it is used, aged, and gathers memories.

We’d recommend a soft brush or a slightly damp cloth to give it a gentle clean, and most small scratches can be polished out with a clean, soft cloth. If you feel it’s in need of some extra affection, you might like to use a leather conditioner - look out for one containing beeswax and/or natural oils.

Try not to let your bag get wet, if it does, towel it and then allow it to dry naturally - away from heaters - and it might be worth giving it a little condition after.

To us, it’s important that the leather we use aligns with our values. Alongside creating long lasting, timeless products, we ensure we minimise our impact on the planet, by crafting our pieces responsibly.

All of our leather is supplied by tanneries who are audited and certified by the Leather Working Group.

The Leather Working Group is the world’s largest leather sustainability program. LWG has identified environmental best practices in the industry and audits tanneries to assess the environmental performance of leather manufacturing facilities – and certifies those that meet the standards.
