Flat Brown Leather Turnlock Bag
An understated little brown leather crossbody bag, ideal for every day, it's simple design and flat profile makes for an easy and adaptive accessory.
Hand crafted in London, each of these small batch soft leather crossbody bags measures 19 cm by 23.5 cm. Finished with solid brass D-Rings, the buckled leather strap is adjustable between 121 and 131 cm. Completed with a brass turnlock fastening, which combines swift access with security.
For this handmade leather bag we have selected a rich vegetable tanned leather, selected for being a more natural tanning process, one which preserves the natural surface and texture of the leather, resulting in a unique, characterful finished leather, which will wear beautifully, taking charm and character with use. The leather is free of any heavy finishes or top coats, so may transfer colour onto light clothing at first, until a natural patina is developed.

Missouri - The leather we choose is vegetable tanned, which means it is produced in the most natural way possible. This highlights the natural grain and texture, as well as growth marks and scars, beautifully preserving the organic story of the material.

Chroma/Roam Our colourful leather accessories are very low maintenance; try to avoid getting them completely wet, and they can be cleaned with a soft brush, or a damp cloth. Designed to be durable, the solid colour finish can conceal a few more bashes than the natural grain leather but they never say no to a good going over with a leather cleaner and a clean cloth.
There are sealant sprays available, which do help protect your leather goods and can also help protect colour transfer onto lighter coloured clothing.
Missouri - A full grain, natural finish, this leather's charm comes as it is used, aged, and gathers memories.
We’d recommend a soft brush or a slightly damp cloth to give it a gentle clean, and most small scratches can be polished out with a clean, soft cloth. If you feel it’s in need of some extra affection, you might like to use a leather conditioner - look out for one containing beeswax and/or natural oils.
Try not to let your bag get wet, if it does, towel it and then allow it to dry naturally - away from heaters - and it might be worth giving it a little condition after.
