A small navy leather bag in a compact design measuring 19 cm x 23.5 cm. Silver colour heavy duty fittings, strap adjustable with a buckle, secured with a turn lock closure.

Handmade in London using sustainably sourced vegetable tanned leather

 

Cut from sumptuous navy vegetable tanned leather, the compact design is made of two pieces of full grain leather, unlined, stitched and secured with a silver finish turn lock.

Handmade in London, the navy cross body bag is created for practicality and convenience, with it's clean simple lines and adjustable leather strap ranging 121 - 131 cm.

Measuring 19 cm x 23.5 cm, we choose vegetable tanned leather as it is a lower impact, more sustainable, tanning process; this design perfectly showcases the unique natural material and develops individual charm and character with use.

The leather is free of any heavy finishes or top coats, so may transfer colour onto light clothing at first, until a natural patina is developed.

- 2.2-2.4 mm thick Italian vegetable tanned leather.

We’d recommend a soft brush or a slightly damp cloth to give it a gentle clean, and most small scratches can be polished out with a clean, soft cloth. If you feel it’s in need of some extra affection, you might like to use a leather conditioner - look out for one containing beeswax and/or natural oils. Although be mindful of oil transfer on to clothing.
Try not to let your new leather accessory get wet; if it does, allow it to dry naturally - away from heaters - and it might be worth giving it a little condition after. 

There are sealant sprays available, which do help protect your leather goods and can also help protect colour transfer onto lighter coloured clothing.

There is a risk of colour transfer should it get wet but being vegetable tanned, any transfer should come out with normal laundry detergent.

To us, it’s important that the leather we use aligns with our values. Alongside creating long lasting, timeless products, we ensure we minimise our impact on the planet, by crafting our pieces responsibly.

All of our leather is supplied by tanneries who are audited and certified by the Leather Working Group.

The Leather Working Group is the world’s largest leather sustainability program. LWG has identified environmental best practices in the industry and audits tanneries to assess the environmental performance of leather manufacturing facilities – and certifies those that meet the standards.

Delivery

Everything here is handmade in London by a member of our small team, which means that orders can take up to 5 working days to complete - especially one off custom orders and those with personalisation.

Shipping is free to the UK. We’re here Monday to Friday and we post orders as soon as they’re ready, using Royal Mail Tracked 48. UK customers have the option of Next Day delivery for an additional fee. 

Delivery to our International customers will typically take a week to 10 days, but may be up to two weeks. Any custom fees and duties that apply to items sent outside of the UK will be the responsibility of the customer.

You’ll receive an email notification as soon as your order is dispatched, which will have tracking info and our contact details.

Returns and Exchanges

If for any reason you’d like to return or exchange your purchase, please post the item back to us at the following address, enclosing our Returns Form (download one here). Alternatively you can email to request the form, or simply include a note detailing all the same information - it will help us process your request more quickly.

The item must be in an unused condition and packaged securely, we recommend using a tracked service as we can't be responsible for items lost in the mail. We will process your refund/exchange within 2-3 working days. 

We are unable to cover return postage for International orders, so unfortunately for our International customers, you would be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs, and any re-delivery charges for exchanges.

You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.

We cannot offer returns or exchanges on bespoke or personalised products.
