Leather Trimmed Elasticated Webbing Belt Navy and Red

Size

£28.00

This is our Leather Trimmed Elasticated Webbing Belt; an unusual navy elastic belt with a bold red stripe, at 35 mm wide it fits most belt loops, and the durable yet flexible webbing adds extra comfort and ease in wearing.

Handmade in London, a highly versatile chino belt completed with stitched leather tabs, cut from the same quality Italian vegetable tanned leather as used for our Classic Belts. The 3.5 mm thick leather has been vegetable tanned, a lower impact method, which beautifully preserves the organic past life of the material, highlighting the natural grain and texture, as well as the surface variations and character. Our thick, best quality webbing is sourced from master weavers in Belgium.
The best way to find your size is to measure a well fitting belt from the place at which the buckle is attached to the most used hole, and choose a size to cover that measurement. For more details, please see our size guide here.
In addition to this mens stretch belt, we have a selection of different colourways available, such as this warm Green and Rust, a Red with Navy, or an understated never-failing Black. As well as a narrower 25 mm option in blue, black, brown and beige.

To figure out your perfect fit measure a well fitting belt from the place at which the buckle is attached to the most used hole.

Alternatively, if you do have a tape measure to hand, measure over your trousers, exactly as you would wear the belt - which allows for the added bulk of the trousers.

The leather we use for our classic belts is low maintenance and easy to care for. Most small scratches can be polished out with a clean, soft cloth.

If you feel it’s in need of some extra affection, you might like to use a leather conditioner. Anything with beeswax or natural oils is best. Feel free to get in touch for our own recommendation.

We do not recommend using a coloured conditioner, as there is a high risk of colour transfer onto clothes. A neutral one will rejuvenate the colour slightly without the risk of damage.

The buckles we use for our classic belts are Brass or Zamak which shines up well with typical metal polishes. Always test the polish in an inconspicuous place first.

All of our leather is supplied by tanneries who are audited and certified by the Leather Working Group.

The Leather Working Group is the world’s largest leather sustainability program. LWG has identified environmental best practices in the industry and audits tanneries to assess the environmental performance of leather manufacturing facilities – and certifies those that meet the standards.

The leather used for our Belts is supplied by a Tuscan tannery that has a Silver Rating from the LWG, as well as being a member of The Genuine Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Consortium.

The Consortium’s mission is to safeguard the centuries-old tradition of vegetable tanning and to guarantee the quality of the raw material and workmanship. The Consortium guarantees manufacturing processes compatible with the ecosystem and not harmful to people.
