A versatile tan leather crossbody bag cut from sustainably sourced leather, completed with a silver finish turn lock closure, and adjustable strap cut from heavy duty beige webbing.

A versatile tan leather crossbody bag, handmade in London using beautifully soft vegetable tanned leather from Italy.

Simple, classic design, the bag comes with a 16 x 16 cm flat pocket on the front and secures with a silver finish turn lock closure. Each handmade leather bag measures 23 cm across, with a height of 25 cm and a depth at the base of 8 cm, making for a convenient every day carry.
The strap is cut from heavy duty webbing, adjustable between 82 and 138 cm, and attached with heavy duty silver finish d-rings.

We use vegetable tanned as it is more sustainable and lower impact method of tanning, one which beautifully preserves the natural past last and uniqueness of the leather, creating a truly individual piece that ages beautifully.

Colour note: leather is a natural material and some variation between hides is to be expected. Please bear in mind that monitor settings may also create variance.

The vegetable tanned leather is free of any heavy finishes or top coats, so may transfer colour onto light clothing at first, until a natural patina is developed.

We’d recommend a soft brush or a slightly damp cloth to give it a gentle clean, and most small scratches can be polished out with a clean, soft cloth. If you feel it’s in need of some extra affection, you might like to use a leather conditioner - look out for one containing beeswax and/or natural oils. Although be mindful of potential oil transfer.

Try not to let your new leather accessory get wet; if it does, allow it to dry naturally - away from heaters - and it might be worth giving it a little condition after. 

There is a risk of colour transfer should it get wet but being vegetable tanned, any transfer should come out with normal laundry detergent.

Everything here is handmade in London by a member of our small team, which means that orders can take up to 5 working days to complete - especially one off custom orders and those with personalisation.

I recently had a big birthday and received the tan bag and also the same bag in black all I can say is wow what exceptional quality and value the leather is really good quality and the price is fantastic you will not get this style of bag with this quality at a better price the well known maker of this style of bag far more expensive and in my opinion the quality is not as good you are just paying for the name I was unsure at first with what the quality would be like for the price but please don’t be theses bags are the best quality I’ve seen and would not hesitate to order from this company again they were very well packed and delivery was very quick they also come with dust bag Thankyou village leathers for these beautiful bags that will last for many years to come

Cross Body Bag

Just what I have been looking for. Quick delivery and packaged really well. Love the drawstring storage bag too. It is very good quality leather and the strap is a very good length which can be adjusted easily. Can get everything I need in it and love that I have my hands free when out and about.
